Project Overview
Earth Café is a conceptual interior design project based in Chennai, built around the philosophy of “earth-to-table” dining. The space blends artisanal coffee culture with fresh, wholesome food, reflecting sustainability and connection to nature. Interiors are rooted in earthy materials: terracotta, clay, and wood, balanced with abundant greenery to create a calm, grounding atmosphere.

Conceptualization:
The interiors of Earth Café are shaped by the idea of being close to the earth. Naturistic design elements like limewash texture, terracotta and rattan are used to create a warm, grounding atmosphere, while soft arches and simple forms keep the space calm and inviting while being charecterised by the victorian minimal borders and checkered floors. It intends to create a space where one feels closing to nature and thereby mimic the productivity elements we often only find in nature.
